Robin Sewell, 28, of Bowling Green, injects an anesthetic shot into Shelton. Sewell, who has been a nurse for four years, needed to administer the shot to make a kidney biopsy much more bearable for Shelton. A kidney biopsy requires doctors to remove a piece of the patient’s kidney in order to detect what has caused failure of the organ which acts as the human body’s center for filtration of fluids.
